Posted on December 6th, 2007 by admin

Mind Bullet Inc., a direct to consumer communications PR firm in the Philippines, introduces its “one day strategy session” aimed at helping predominantly start up enterprises and companies position themselves properly in the market. At the launching of its website, Mindbullet.ORG Mind Bullet leverages market positioning as it applies to new business. President and CEO Eero Brillantes elaborates. ‘What we have done is to concentrate on key market positioning subject areas appropriate for start up businesses. With some preparatory time, a session would last a day with a measurable market positioning program as output. After the session, we present our strategic recommendations. After that, it all nurturing time spread over the period a program is being implemented. ”

Brillantes emphasizes the need for proper positioning as necessary to roll out new business.

Now more than ever, market positioning is a major activity for any new business to succeed or even become dominant in a market. As a process, market positioning encompasses certain factors essential to roll out strategies and launches. Identifying real value, actually owning key words and phrases in the consumers mind, and establishing consumer relationships based on human interaction is what market positioning is all about.

Brillantes mentions that a lot of new businesses spend so much resources on capital outlay and tactical marketing campaigns only to be frustrated.

How many times have we seen owners of businesses spend on equipment, expertise, and marketing gimmicks which do not give real value. It just so happens others have spent on these also. The same equipment is bought. The same media-marketing mix are employed. Similar corporate philosophies and business models are cascaded throughout the organization. But if you look closely, a lot of spending go to expenditures which do not anymore provide the competitive edge needed to succeed. Many factors of competition are already at parity. Yet this type of mistake is common.

For his part, Nestor Mijares, Accounts Director at Mind Bullet says that nothing beats owning real estate in the mind of consumers.

With so much information out there, and a galaxy of options for consumers, how do products and services stand out if these are new? Owning a word or phrase and relating this with what is offered is the most powerful outcome of any in market positioning strategy. Done properly, positioning makes a product, service, or individual stand out in the crowded market place and even at times dominate . Pushing the envelope further, proper positioning opens up new markets.

The credit card consolidation takes into consideration the financial profile of the client. The foreclosure is an indication that the accounts are not well regularized and the chances of bad debts are looming. The home insurance helps avoid the risks of fire and other natural calamities. The mortgage brokers help the clients to get a secured loan through the banks to light up the financial burden. The visa card facility is present in all the third world countries now.

    Dear Sir,

I’m a school owner. I believe that the readers of today are the leaders of tomorrow. I also believe in Jose Rizal’s notion that if we want to help effect change in our society, we have to start with the young minds. I also believe in the importance of the formative years and in providing young children an early intellectual stimulation and starting them early in reading to help maximize their innate potential. Hence, we developed the Body-Brain Energy Synchronization Technique (BEST), a pedagogical teaching methodology in reading using classical music to synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain and then let it work in harmony with the physical body and the energy within.

My husband was a German millionaire who introduced a technology too advanced for a corrupt industry. He died with his invention and we lived in poverty. Thus, the root of my early literacy advocacy and my desire to effect change in our society.

Ours is a humble and mission-oriented school. Because we lost our money, we didn’t dream of putting up a school. We just started an experimental class and conducted an early intellectual stimulation and an early reading workshop for children ages 6 months to 5 years old to prove to many parents that the earlier we could start teaching children learn how to read with fun and without stress the easier it will be for them to learn and the older we start them the harder it will be for them to learn how to read.

What we had then was just our mission and vision to propagate the importance of starting the children early in reading and to help young children not only from affluent families but also from disadvantaged families in depressed areas and in remote provinces learn how to read and write with fun and without stress, the iBEST way.

The early reading program as featured in the the award-winning news program “The World Tonight” of Channel 2 and the “Yan ang Pinoy, Saludo Kami” of Channel 13 was touted as the early reading program that works. With the iBEST program, a one-year old can identify the letters, numbers, colors, and shapes; a two-year old can decode three-letter words and can read some basic sight words; and a three-year old can read sentences with comprehension.

The success of the early reading program cannot anymore be concealed in its four corners that it is now a DepEd recognized school. How the school hurdled and weathered its growing pains can be considered a miracle and made our conviction strong that the school will survive all the impossibles because of its mission and vision that is yet to be realized.

We need workable marketing strategies and positioning from a marketing expert to help the school increase its enrollment so that it could realize its mission and vision and to be able to purchase the property where the school is presently situated. Are there investors out there or a philanthropist or marketing and finance specialists, or a foundation who could give us sterling help needed for the school to finally realize its mission and vision for the leaders of tomorrow in a win-win arrangement?

Please advice us on what to do. Hope to hear from you. More Power! God bless!

    Sincerely,
    Ma
